Kevin Covey’s career was inspired at the age of 10 when he began assisting his mom with wedding planning for the family’s church in Anaheim, CA. A spark was ignited for all things creative. Kevin developed a passion for entertaining and often created elaborate parties for his family and friends. During college, he acquired theatrical background in lighting, costume, make-up and set design. In 1999, Kevin capitalized on his passion for weddings and entertaining by opening California-based Kevin Covey Wedding & Event Coordination. Kevin is known in the industry for high emphasis on the planning and execution of stylized weddings with a creative vision, impeccable taste, and distinctively modern flair.

“You only have this one day to express yourself”, quotes Kevin in the well-recognized television show intro. This one special day is the culmination of hours, days and months of planning an event that matches the unique personality of Kevin’s clients. After nine seasons of featuring fabulous weddings, “Whose Wedding Is it Anyway?” has become a sensational hit for the network.

The Style Network has kept Kevin busy, featuring him in two other wedding-related series. “Married Away” aired in 2006, with Covey working on the planning and coordinating of destination weddings. In the 2005 “Wedding Altered” series, Kevin acted as the guiding light for his couple’s family members who were charged with the planning and execution of the big day. In 2006, Kevin debuted in the popular original series “Platinum Weddings” on Women’s Entertainment Network (WEtv). Truly the ultimate wedding show, it captured the drama and decadence of planning a wedding on an extraordinary budget.

Kevin has maintained a busy schedule between tapings, day-to-day business operations, and national travel in partnership with beverage brand Kahlua and Gourmet Magazine as their national spokesperson. He toured various Macy’s Stores as a host giving tips of the trade on how to throw an unforgettable soirée.

Kevin is known for giving clients the star treatment. With master organizational skills and creative ideas, this powerhouse planner listens to his clients and helps them visualize their ideal wedding.
